Theresa received her Acupuncture degree from Dragon Rises College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in 2002. Along with her Florida license as an Acupuncture Physician (AP1674), she is national board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology and a Certified Functional Medicine practitioner. She has completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Health. She studied Mayan medicine in Belize with Rosita Arvigo, a traditional healer, ethnobotanist, and Doctor of Naprapathy. While in Belize, she spent time making herbal medicines as tinctures and salves. She also collected native plants for preservation and for HIV and Cancer research with the New York Botanical Garden.

Theresa has over 30 years experience as a Nutritional Consultant. She worked in a community group setting as an Acupuncturist to the Alachua County Drug Court program, treating addiction. She also worked along side Dr. Angeli Akey’s functional medicine team as their acupuncturist for 4 years and enjoys integrating and collaborating with other practitioners to find the best and quickest way to recovery and health.  She focuses her advanced studies in Nutrition, proper supplementation, Herbal medicine, Women’s healthcare, Functional Medicine and lab interpretation and advanced Acupuncture techniques; including but not limited to Japanese meridian therapy, Taoist styles of Acupuncture,and Pain management.

JENNiFER CONLON, APRN,FNP-BC

Jennifer Conlon is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy Nurse Credentialing Center.  She began her career in Nursing in 1999 in Jacksonville, Florida, after graduating from Florida State College with her Associate degree in nursing. She worked for many years as an ICU nurse and moved to Gainesville in 2006, after meeting her husband Thomas. Jennifer graduated with honors from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and in 2016 with a Master of Science in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. 

Jennifer has a passion for helping others. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients.  She is dedicated to helping all patients adopt a healthy lifestyle and enjoys teaching her patients about preventive health care. “I love supporting my patients and empowering them through all walks of life, I see myself as a partner in their healthcare”

Jennifer has been married to her husband Thomas since 2013.  They have 2 beautiful children named Jaxson and Ella and two fur babies, Sura and Aggie.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, the beach, traveling, and CrossFit.

CORINNE EDWARDS, ED.S., LMHC

Corinne received her Master’s and Specialist’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Florida in 2001 and has been a therapist for over 18 years. She takes a resilience-informed approach to therapy, which works to strengthen one’s ability to process, adapt, grow, and flourish despite challenging circumstances. Corinne provides therapy to adults, adolescents, children and families. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an integral part of her practice. EMDR introduces corrective information to distressful experiences to allow for an overlay of resources, strengths, and growth. EMDR facilitates a change in negative thoughts and worries, opening the door to present-moment awareness with a more adaptiveperspective. EMDR is an evidenced-based treatment that works well for anxiety, depression,trauma, grief, loss, stress, and life adjustment challenges. Corinne is also certified in trauma-focused cognitive therapy and has 15 years’ experience in the trauma field, which has solidified her understanding of post-traumatic growth and healing.

Brittany Blocker, LMT

Brittany combines knowledge, intuition, and strength to provide a therapeutic massage that truly sets the groundwork for the body to repair itself. 

Using mainly a mix of Neuromuscular Therapy, Connective Tissue therapy, and Deep Tissue massage, pain and dysfunction can be corrected by treating trigger points, muscle adhesions, and fascial (connective tissue) patterns. These trigger points, adhesions and fascial patterns can form due to a specific trauma, postural pattern, or series of repetitive movements.

Brittany uses her knowledge of these modalities during your personalized massage session. She is very experienced in dealing with chronic pain, loss of range of motion, scar tissue, and injuries and has helped over 500 clients in the area work towards a healthier and pain free lifestyle.
